The longest ski (cross country) Marathon of  the World (first edition in 1984)

"From Border to Border" (Rajalta Rajalle Hiihto) is a 440 km long ski marathon, cross-country style,

from Russian border to Swedish border, which follows a route near the Arctic Polar Circle.

Place: Finland-Lappland (from Russian border to Swedish border) / Arctic Polar Circle

Lenght: 400 km in 7 days - Daytrip distances ranging from 44 to 78 km
